Every VIGYL candle is hand-poured in Canada using a clean-burning soy wax blend, bespoke fragrance formulas, and cotton-core wicks.
We keep production small, intentional, and close to home—because the energy that goes into an object changes how it burns.
Our signature shape is inspired by industrial oil drums which are often given second life as vessels for contained fires, used to torch debris or provide heat outdoors—so there is a natural relation to the flame, community and rebirth. The material finishes of the vessel allow it to blend seamlessly into any modern setting, adding a touch of minimalist class to any space, while also allowing the fragrance to function without distraction.
Yes. Every VIGYL candle is hand-poured in small batches in Montreal, Canada using premium ingredients and custom-designed vessels. Our focus is local quality, not mass production.
VIGYL blends home fragrance with emotional design. We create mood-driven candles that act as ritual objects—sculptural, scent-forward, and built for interiors that express identity. We design with a queer lens, meaning our objects are created from within the culture, not just marketed to it.
We use a clean-burning soy wax blend paired with cotton-core wicks and phthalate-free fragrance oils. For best burn results, check out our Candle Care tips and tricks.
Yes! In fact, we designed it to be reused or upscaled once the candle is burned to completion. Our oil-drum-inspired vessels are designed to be repurposed. Use them as cocktail glasses, catch-alls, vases, or ritual objects of your own.
