I am so happy with this scent - it is seasonal but I will use it year round. The vessel itself is really striking too. Vigyl is such a great company, and I'm so happy to be able to spend my money at a Canadian queer-owned business. So much so that I ended up buying another 5 as gifts for my friends!

Not to mention, the packaging is beautiful — it would make the perfect hostess gift. I’ll definitely be buying another when for the spring scent!!

This opens as a classic, traditional, natural pine. As you burn a little longer, wood notes crackle forward, like a camp fire, or a fireplace in a cabin. Then there's a sweetness that subtly comes forward and lingers. It's subtle, soft and remains in the background. I like this candle a lot, it's the perfect winter scent: classic, multilayered, a surprising sweetness that makes it unique, new. It's a versatile scent that I think will please most anyone. The white jar makes for a decorative piece that can fit next to, or on top of books, or as the center piece during dinner. The scent itself renders it to be perfect for a dinner party, a wintery festivity because of that burning wood, hint of sweetness. If this one is limited run, I hope it's brought back next year for the Yuletide celebrations, as I can see this scent becoming a signature seasonal scent like gingerbread cookies or eggnog.
